Vetiver Bourbon
Vetiver is a tropical grass widely cultivated for its strong, fast-growing roots that can reach depths of 3 to 4 metres. Not only is vetiver highly tolerant of drought, it also helps protect the soil from erosion. However, this vetiver can carry the honorable title of Bourbon because it is specifically extracted from Madagascar (essentially a perfume, equivalent to a Grand Cru designation in the wine industry). In Madagascar, the roots are distilled near the fields, preserving the aroma and also reducing the carbon footprint. The extraction itself is then processed and refined in our facilities in France to enhance that earthy, pink scent you love so much.
