NATURAL AND VEGAN

LE COUVENT's philosophy is inspired by a unique botanical heritage that focuses on natural materials and keeps controversial ingredients at bay. Pure and honest luxury, chic and common sense that is part of a 100% vegan approach.

In the interests of the skin and the environment, LE COUVENT frees itself as much as possible from questionable or unwanted ingredients in its formulas. In particular, preservatives that potentially disrupt the hormonal balance, petrochemical derivatives or irritants and pollutants. This commitment includes the absence of over 50 controversial ingredients, including: parabens, PEGs, phthalates, silicones, sulfates, BHA, BHT, EDTA, mineral oils & waxes, phenoxyethanol and others.

Le Couvent prefers floral and plant essences and tries to get as close to 100% natural as possible, without sacrificing the quality of its formulas. The low percentage of non-natural ingredients present in the products has been carefully selected when they are good and necessary to ensure optimal sensuality and effectiveness.

His meteoric rise is based on a style of rare elegance, an olfactory signature with a subtle blend of purity and precision. After years spent in olfactory at Hermès, Jean-Claude Ellena is sparing in his collaborations. He speaks of LE COUVENT as a crush, a story of encounters, exchanges and points of attachment: noble materials, extraordinariness and naturalness.

When Jean Claude Ellena talks about perfumes, she talks about the places that inspire her. Memories, recomposed memories through scents. Composing a perfume is writing a story. A narrative that transports the user somewhere else. Choosing a perfume is much more than a scent that you like or don't like. It is an evocation, a story that can tell who we are or who we would like to be. It is also taking the time to discover, to assimilate the perfume, to give yourself time to breathe and be inspired.
